Proverbs 16:18 NKJV - Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
As I was heading home, I should’ve been more excited, I was going to make it before 5!
But that was not the case; I’ve felt this “feeling” before, and I knew God had a word for me.
We can choose to ignore the calling, or respond in a matter that draws us to a place of peace.
It’s easy out of instinct to “grab” for the things we think will comfort us, mine was to grab a cup of coffee lol, but my spirit said no. I knew His word would be comforting; I knew His word would be enough.
We can chose to let the emotions overpower us, or run to alcohol, drugs, or sex to silence the response of deception, deception that we will remain afflicted, OR put your headphones on, tune in to some worship music and SILENCE the THOUGHTS of uncertainty, sadness, regrets.....are you to far gone to be reformed, restored, and renewed? No way!!
When the devil reminds you that there is no repairing what has been damaged, destroyed, and decayed in your heart and spirit, REMIND him that Jesus saw potential in you before you even knew you would be noticed by a loving Father who cared less if we were imperfect.
REMIND him that God loves you through the blemishes, weakness, inadequacies, and deficiencies.

We get so caught up in the abuse: verbal, mental and physical abuse; that we start to see it as a form of love and affection.
“Well if they didn’t love me, they wouldn’t hit me when another person looked at me.”
“Well if they didn’t always question where I was or went, they wouldn’t care about me.”
“Well If they didn’t always check my body, and my belongings, they wouldn’t be attracted to me and fearful someone else would take their place.”
Their anger is with themselves NOT with you.
Their suspicion is NOT with you, but their uncertainty with themselves.
There jealousy is NOT with you, nor about you, but their insecurity about THEMSELVES.
REMEMBER: You ARE loved; You ARE cherished; You ARE noticed; You ARE worthy; You ARE loved.
